We had a dust storm last week that was so bad it seriously delayed flights and even caused blackouts. There were thunderstorms, heavy winds, and a dust cloud roughly 3,000’ tall and over 30 mi across. This is the second time this month we have had a dust storm like this in the past month. Make sure that when weather like this moves through you stay indoors and take necessary precautions.
